The Story Behind Their Names

When I asked Michelle how her boys got their names, she shared such a sweet story.

“One of my Littles is named after me, his first name is my middle name.”

There is something so meaningful about passing a piece of yourself on to your child. Her other little one’s name was chosen simply because they loved it.

“Their dad is a poker player, so his middle name is Ace.”

It fits perfectly. A name full of personality and love.

A Birth Story of Strength

Michelle told me she drove herself to the hospital the day her boys were born. That moment alone says so much about the kind of mom she is — strong, steady, and brave. Not every birth story is dramatic, but they all hold powerful moments that shape us forever.

Sharing the Big News

When it came time to tell family and friends, Michelle called her closest loved ones. Everyone else found out on Facebook. I can imagine the joy and excitement that came flooding in when the news was shared.

Cravings, Laughter, and Love

We laughed as Michelle shared her favorite pregnancy craving.

“Nachos!”

Sometimes the simplest things bring the most comfort. When I asked who the boys looked like, she smiled and said, “Each of them are a good mix of their dad and I.” I could see it clearly during our session. Their tiny features blended the best of both parents, a perfect reflection of their love.

Lessons in Motherhood

When we talked about motherhood, Michelle shared something that really touched me.

“The best thing about being a parent so far is that I learn something new every day.”

Parenthood has a way of teaching us things we never expected. When I asked what had surprised her most, she spoke from the heart.

“All of the unhealed parts of myself that I thought had been navigated still need a lot of work. I discovered that when my boys were born and became toddlers.”

Her honesty was beautiful. Children show us the deepest parts of ourselves and remind us how love helps us grow.
