As a newborn photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing some of the most precious moments in a family’s life for the last 15 years. From little fingers and toes to big yawns and sleepy smiles, newborn photography is a field that requires patience and skill.
Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph Selling Sunset star, Heather Rae El Moussa, her husband, Tarek El Moussa and their adorable new addition, Tristan Jay El Moussa in Orange County, California. When I received the call, I was both excited and nervous. I knew that this would be a unique experience and that the photographs would be treasured by the family for years to come.
On the day of the shoot, I arrived at the family’s home and was greeted by the proud parents, who were warm and welcoming. As I set up my equipment, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe. This was a family that I had seen on TV and in magazines. And now, I was going to be photographing them with their precious newborn.
What followed was an incredible experience. The baby was a perfect model, sleeping soundly as I captured each fleeting moment. I felt like I was capturing not just photographs, but memories that would last a lifetime.
The magic did not stop there. Shortly after I sent the images to the El Moussa family, both Heather and Tarek posted my photos on their Instagram saying, “His newborn pics are making my heart melt” and “My smile says it all…” I then received a call about how my images would be featured by PEOPLE Magazine! This entire experience has been a dream come true!
